Henry Samueli, Ph.D.

Samueli is co-founder of Broadcom and Chairman of Broadcom Inc., a global leader in semiconductors and infrastructure software. He is Chairman of the Broadcom Foundation that sponsors the Broadcom MASTERS®, a program of Society for Science & the Public that brings science fair competition to middle schoolers throughout the US and the world. He is also a Professor (on leave) in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at UCLA, and a Distinguished Adjunct Professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at UC Irvine.

He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from UCLA in 1975, 1976 and 1980, respectively.
